Just a random wonder, as I go off to bed.. My betta now and then does what can only be called a yawn. They probably all do it. It's just adorable when he does.
He's an active guy, always swimming to and fro, wriggling through his plants, but every now and then, he'll pause, look at me, stretch a few fins out in a non-flare type of motion, yawn, and go back to swimming, lol.
Anyone know if they are like a human yawn, serving the same purpose? (ridding a little excess oxygen from the system)
Anyway, just another reason to smile at him
*yawn* gnite!
