I wanted to post a pic of my 5 gallon all ready for the new fish coming. I'd have to say that this is probably my favorite tank layout out of the 4 I have.
If you hadn't noticed, I'm a big pirate/skull fan! :-D
(Note: The female that is also coming will be placed in the divided 10 gallon with Azazel and I've posted a pic of that tank previously. )
Wow, really spectacular, lol ;-) Nice plants, are they live or plastic?
Yeah, I really want to get a ten gallon for Flapjack, how much would you say did the tank cost, plus the hood, since I see most ten gallon (at least at Wal Mart) come without one
Very nice tank, I love the simple natural look. Is that the tank for the one you got off aquabid? Thats a pretty beastly looking filter you got in there.
-I usually get tank kits since it ends up being cheaper then buying everything separate.
-The plants are plastic.
-Yes, this is for the CT male I'm getting.
-The filter is the same one I have on 2 other tanks. I modify them to slow the flow way down so they can handle it. So far it was worked wonderfully! I have the filter going full blast right now to have the water cycle through it until I get the little guy, then I'll slow it down before he goes in.
It's an Aqua-Tech 5-15 gallon filter. It's only 10 bucks at Walmart and I've figured out how to easily modify them to slow down the flow to keep them "Betta safe"
