Hey, i just went to clean my fishes bowl and decided to put new gravel in (i was using glass stones before) and the water is all cloudy! I washed the gravel a few times in just plain, hot water. Should I leave my fish in the container I put him in while i was cleaning his bowl until i can let some water stand for 24 hours, or is it fine to just put the water conditioner in water straight from the tap and let it stand for a little while? Help! Thanks.
What kind of conditioner are you using?
If this conditioner removes chlorine and chloramine just mix with new tap water in a bucket and the new water will be safe to use, no need to leave water standing out.
It just says "Splendid Betta Complete Water Conditioner" and under it says it instantly makes water safe for Bettas. I feel bad having him in this little container waiting until tomorrow!
