So here is the deal guys. My small tank setup is about 2 gal with a 3i filter and a DYI CO2 set up for some plants (dwarf baby tears and duck weed) I change the water regularly once a week. My problem is that I keep accumulating white/grey bacteria growth on the rocks and statue in my tank. should Try stopping the CO2 or is my problem stemming from another source? :frustrated:
How does your diy co2 reactor work? Do you have a picture of it?
I use easycarbo from easylife to produce co2 for the plants and that works fine for me because i can dose it very precise... have had no problems with florishing bacterial cultures in the tanks yet... But I don't know if you can get it in the US...
I did some research into your this easycarbo and found a product that is similar and they sell it in the US. I have provided the link below. I believe this may be the solution to my CO2 problem. thanks for the help:-D Seachem Flourish™ Excel
The Seachem product looks the same as easycarbo. It may be the solution to your problem. Another big plus is that it is easy to use, just make sure that you don't overdose...
