That is such an awesome pic! And what a great idea for travel!!! It's dark so less stress, and the straw for air is too cool!! I'll have to keep this in mind if I ever find Betta's on road trips. lol
I brought his 5 gallon tank (that's the size limit that my dorm allows). I left some water in it though, as well as the filter cartridge, so that the beneficial bacteria would stay in it and I wouldn't have to worry about starting a new cycle.
The method I used to transport Junior worked very well and for the most part was stress-free (he is a fish that really doesn't get stressed. But the sock over the bottle creates a dark environment which reduces fish's stress).

What a great idea for travel. If ever I have to take my fish on the road I'll keep this in mind. I was trying to figure out if I went on tour for longer than a month how to bring a fish with us, wouldn't be this way though.
