That is a wonderful tank, and a beautiful betta who looks incredibly happy. It's amazing how much more active they are when they have the space to move around, isn't it?
Yeap, you're absolutely right Deanna! When I placed him in the 10 gallon, I thought he'd just hang out in a corner - but boy was I wrong! He's explored every nook and cranny and its really amusing to see him flare at Lucy - my Macrabrachium lanchesteri
Thank you for your kind words everyone! It's a really low-tech tank. Just a filter, lighting and liquid Co2. I don't know if it emulates an actual betta habitat but Peter seems to love it
My jaw literally dropped! What an awesome tank, and you boy's colour contrasts the green wonderfully. His fins are so big and wowing!
This really makes me want to stop being lazy an upgrade my boy's home
