He has leaves and plants to rest on but he won't eat and can't due to how curled he is. WIll it just go away?

I don't know. My SBD betta was just suddenly fine (after like 3 or 4 days of treatment). I fed him through an eyedropper some daphnia for a couple of those days. But, he was never curled into a position like that. I wouldn't give up though. You never know, and the body has an amazing way of healing itself sometimes. Good luck.

He's so much better now! He is still a little floaty but he's not curled. I dropped some pellets in for him and he can swim OK

How long has he not been eating? My boy wouldn't hardly eat while he was still floaty. In fact he just started really wanting his food today.

Have you tried soaking his pellets in garlic?

He hasn't eaten at all yet I think. No I haven't tried that, I'll try that next.
