How many females in a 55 gallon?

I just upgraded to a 55 gallon tank and i was wondering how many females can i put in my tank?

I'll be getting more plants and more hidding places
In the tank there is already
6 Albino cories
3 south american bumbleebee catfish
3 platies
4 spotted cories i've rehomed some of my other fishes, they went to one of my friends tanks were they will be well taken care of.
Advice in where to start and pictures of your sorority are welcome.

i dont have a sorority, and i dont know a lot about stocking, but in planning the stock for my 29gallon i've been using aqadvisor's stocking calculator. try looking at aqadvisor.com and plug in your filter and tank dimensions, then plug in all the fish you have, then just try plugging in females until you get a good number. also, it'll show warnings if it doesn't think your stock is compatible. i agree that it needs a lot more hiding places and stuff but you are planning that already.

I've used aqadvisor but i find it unreliable, so that i why i would like to get different opinions and get the best out of them.
I am gonna get the plants and the hidding places first but i don't know how many females to put at the time or if I should put them 1 by 1.
