Females

Is it okay to put a mirror by a female?
Like they are used to seeing more fish.

Moved to Anabantids in freshwater, unless I am mistaking the species then please say so and I can move it back.

It depends on the personality of your betta. Chances are though it won't flare up which is most prominent with males.

She probably won't flare, but why would you want to put a mirror up to her?

The pet store where i got her she was in one big tank with other females, i thought she might like the "company" of another "fish".

Bettas are solitary creatures by nature so she won't get lonely.

If she seems bored try adding a floating plant for her to play with.

my females love it when I put a soda cap upside down on top of the water. they just swim around it, like its some sort of diety. its pretty funny :) when it gets gross I swap it out and they play with the new one all over again. no much, but hey its something for them to do :)
