Good Pair?

Hey guys, so fishchick65 finally posted her new stock on youtube and this pair really catches my eye.

For Sale: Tapestry Dragon - Fancy Dragon Halfmoon Betta Pair

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0quFUAnZzN8

any opinions?
Bare in mind that I do plan to breed them some time in the future.

Thanks in advance.

Except for his long anal, the male is ok. But the female, to my experience, won't yield that many HMs. Her caudal is way too round and her anal is too long.

LOVE the tri-band on the male. But Indjo is right, the anal is too long on both the male and the female, which will result in 100% long-anal fry. The female is also more of a SD. Neither of them have 100% coverage, either.

Don't worry, you can find much better value for what you're paying, just keep your eyes peeled.

That males pattern is beautiful, but I would agree with others and would pair him with a much more suitable female to offset his imperfections. Sorry someone beat you to it, but I am sure you'll find THE pair in no time :)

You should run to her shop and look at her stock in person if you can. From what it sounds like she has a lot she is not putting up on YouTube. She supplies a phone number you can call to see if she has fish. :)

I can't see the fish well enough in the second video to give you much opinion other then I think the male is really pretty. I can't tell if the female is a halfmoon or not. They are both moving around too fast for me.

Can't see clearly, but IMO the male is gorgeous. What ever the female, she seems to have balanced fins. You can breed them and selectively create your own line.

Good luck. Hope you win them.
