How about:
Soldier, Archer, Atom, Azul (In Spanish, Blue). Azul seems like a nice name. I think I'll watch him for a few days before naming him. Suggestions are welcome though. When I get a female, I think I'll name her Beau.

Thought of a name... I would call him Azure!

What do you think of the method of leaving the male with the fry once the spawn has hatched. I wanted to use it with my first spawn. I've also heard of it making the males less aggressive and having to spawn them later.

I always see breeders leaving the males in these cubicles which are a part of one giant tank. Seems like a good idea. How do they do it?

I cannot give an accurate overview of him because of the pic.

He seems to have good form and nice fins. I would breed him to a well balanced female from an established HM line.

It's a chain store with about 12 stores across Canada so it's not a big chain. The service is okay and they sell Aqua Vitro products at some of their stores. There's a cluster of them in Southern Ontario, 1 in Calgary, Edmonton and 2 in Vancouver. By the way, signed the petition. No less than 1gal for Bettas.

As for your "leaving the male with the fry" method... It depends on the male.

I had one male who would care for them, even when they were free swimming. It was comical watching him chase them down, put them in the nest, have them dart away, and do it all over again

Then there are males who'll eat them.

And please don't plague other threads with the petition thing x.x
