Except it's my betta that is getting fat >.<

I've tried all the tricks.. feed at lights out, use a small pipe to sink the algea wafer... crush the wafer to discourage hogging it...

I've stopped feeding the other food because it would be pointless with Notch eating the wafer.. and now I'm fasting the entire tank while doing daily water changes...

I'm going to have to say no more wafers and come up with another solution... I've yet to add zucchini or spinach.. that's I guess my next step - any other suggestions?

I'd try blanching zucchini or spinach for the Otos, I'm pretty your Betta may peck at it, but not potentially eat it.

I'm growing my own algae for my otos. Someone suggested I put a couple rocks in a jar of water and let it sit outside in the sun until it grows a good amount of algae. Then stick the rocks in the tank for the otos to feast on. I've tried romane lettuce, spinach, and carrots. They didn't touch the spinach or carrot. They did like the lettuce though. Good luck.
