I would want either the 2nd or 3rd for you to breed.
But I have a feeling that the 3rd one is better.
Even if the 2nd Betta's Tail Fin is more accurate for a 180 Degree angle,
I just have the Feeling.
Since your a better Betta Fishkeeper than me, you should have a feeling of which one you think is best. You Decide. Good Luck with Choosing!!! :D

I'd go with number 2 cause of his colors. I know nothing of anything else. Well I do. Just not a lot. lol.
But really, I'd ask MrV. ^.^

Thanks. I have virtually no experience in genetics so I though I would ask on which one has better form first, I already own the third male as my personal Betta pet. He is very aggresive, protective of his bubble nests, a very good bubblenester, and has a great personality

Oh, and the 2nd make is an over halfmoon I believe. His fins exceed that D shape

Male number 2 has the best form/fins out of the 3. Male number 3 looks really nice too but doesn't have good enough branching or sharp caudal edges IMO. I wouldn't really consider male number 1 for a breeding program...

My toughts were the same on male 1. I really look forward to breeding. If I do get male 2 I'm definitely going to breed him, the person said that they will give male 2 to me, and a sibling female as long as I provide them with a pair from the spawn. If I do breed male 3. Then should I try breeding him with a female than has attributes that will improve the rays. Or just not bother with it

If I you were to breed male #3, look for a DT female or one that's DT geno. That will give you better dorsals. Make sure the female comes from a good HM family. A cross like that would give you HM's with better dorsals and with good branching .

I'd still go with male number 2. Notice the floppy dorsal and long anal on male #4? Not good traits to pass down. What female are you planning on using?
