shoe's is sick!!! help!

How has your betta fish's appearance changed?
Her scales stick out kinda like a pine cone. She seems bloated, pale, her eyes are getting cloudy. Her gills kinda stick out too.
Her fins seem damaged. Either fin rot, or she was beat up before I took her out of the main tank.

How has your betta fish's behavior changed?
Labored breathing. Stays toward the top, isn't very active. Swims vertically instead of horizontal along the top.

When did you start noticing the symptoms?
About a week ago. She was still pale and cloudy, but she was a little more active and her axles didn't stick out.

Have you started treating your fish? If so, how?
No, I haven't started treatment.

Does your fish have any history of being ill?
None.

How old is your fish (approximately)?
Around 2-3 years old.

She's incredibly sick and I don't know what to do!

My mom wants to take her to petco today to get her looked at.

Please help! This girly means a lot to me, she is only one of the 2 girls left from my first sorority.

Pine-coned scales? Could be dropsy....

If he's pineconing it could be dropsy. Might want to check this thread.
