Color and fin question

It's concerning my Gwynfor. I know that he is a dragon. White dragon scales. Looks to be a blue and purple marble beneath that. His anal fin seems to be outlined in white (can be seen in first attached pic). Ventrals start a nice blue and become purple; tipped in white.

Now, I know he's a PK based on his fins. I can't get him to flare for more than 1 second at a time. When he does flare, it's in a.. well, he looks like a spazz: freaking out with flares ever couple seconds and each only lasting about a second... So I haven't been able to get a pic of him flaring or get a good look at his tail. Have seen his beard.

So I welcome any thoughts on his color, form, and fin type. To me, his anal fin looks kind of long.
First pic shows the white outer edge of his anal fin.
Second pic shows his color pretty well. His ventrals, however, are brighter than in the pic. This picture is from when I first got him home.

First off, Beautiful Betta! to me he appears to shift colors in the two pictures, like a chameleon. I definitely see how his anal fin is long. He appears to be pink purple in the second picture, whilst in the first he was blue.

He looks like a marble or grizzle. I'd probably say grizzle. BTW he's beautiful!!!

In natural light, I can see the marbling beneath the white dragon scales. He seems to have quite a bit of blue and blue violet along with some purple and pink.

Going to be trying to get him to flare in a little while. So far I've had no real luck with it. He just eyes his reflection. When he does flare, it's still only for about 1 second at a time. He's quite the odd one.

I'm very fond of Gwynfor. Out of all my bettas, he interacts with me the most. Not only is he pretty, he's a real joy to have around. I'll have to take a video of him one of these days to share with all of you just how he acts.

Little thing wont cooperate with me on flaring. >_< It doesn't seem to be his thing really. He much rather dance for me and then swim about in an elegant manner. XD

I must say, I love the little patch of white on his nose/face. It makes him look so cute and grumpy!
