rescued another.. sigh I said it would be my last

So I was at the bet store minding my own business just going to buy some anarcharis, when I see elephant ear bettas. I saw a perfectly formed semi-white delta tail without elephant ears. I came across a not as perfect formed elephant eared slightly white silver betta with fin rot.

I ended up choosing the elephant ear one even though it wasnt perfect form >.<

I'll post pictures once he is done being quarantined.

In this situation if you didn't own an elephant ear and wanted one, would you choose the delta tail or the elephant eared betta. Just curious

that's not fin rot. that's tail biting. nothing too bad, he probably did it because he was in a cup for longer than he liked. :I

mmm... it's kinda hard to see them 'cause they move so fast, but i still don't see it. it's not uncommon for the pec fins to had a little ray reduction. .3. either way, with the price those guys cost, he probably would have been there a while, and would have gotten actual fin rot, or worse. :I
