Scale

Play a major part in my old days breeding

But if I follow the same rule it might help out with the fancy

Type of scale
Diamond n round

Size of scale

I've notice that small tight round pattern scale tend to give a darker look

Big diamond scale give a pale dull look

Can you explain this a little better? What do you mean by "a darker look." etc. I've seen people talk about "bad scales" but I haven't looked much into scale types. I honestly never noticed my fish having different types. The things I have read never even went into how a fish had bad scales.

With fancy I don't hear anything about it

But with Bloodline
It's play a major role

I'm just reflecting apon it
Comparing two fish from the same spawn
The fish with small round scale will look darker n deeper tone then the bigger scale fish
(black/Muti color)
The body will look like jet black

Big Diamond shape scale will look dull n lighter
(black/ Muti color fish)
The body will look kind of greyish black
