is shipping costs separate?
do they do well floating? Can it be teathered if it cannot be floating?

They mainly get what they need from the water, not roots, so they can float and do fine. Since there is brighter light at the surface, the color tends to be much nicer.
I have a bundle of it in the sand, grew up nearly 3ft, tops on the surface another foot.
Shipping is $6.
