I want to make sure my newest betta P.K. doesn't die. He has small groupings of a silvery-white areas on his scales. More particularly his furthest forward fins and gills have this. Is this a disease? A bacteria? A virus? Please contact me if this is an illness, if it is treatable and how to treat it. Also, if it is none of the above, please tell me what it is and if it threatens his life. He has also been very lazy for the last couple of days, he's normally very active so I could tell something was wrong. I thought maybe his water just needs changing so I changed it. He waits for food but doesn't eat it when I give it to him. Again please contact me with details about these symptoms as soon as you can and what to do if they're dangerous. Thank you and may you and your bettas live a prosperous life.
