Not a Medical Emergency. Can you preserve Betta's Body?

Hello again,

Luckily this time it isn't a medical emergency.
I lost my beloved betta, Jayne.

I was wondering, since my best friend is coming in about a month, could I preserve Jayne's body so we can burry him when she comes?

Like a little jar with rubbing alcohol?
Any suggestions?

I know there is some controversy between how to dispose of your betta.
Tolet, paper-towels in the garden, etc.
I would like to burry him though. In a little coffin or something.

He was my first betta. My favorite betta. The prettiest little boy I've ever seen. There were many like him. But he was mine. (Or rather, I was his.)

So sorry for your loss :(. I had seen Jayne on this forum before, and I love Firefly, so he stuck in my mind. Poor guy.
Rubbing alcohol would be fine for preserving the body for a month, as long as the concentration is 70% or above for ETHYL alcohol. Isopropyl you only need like 40% purity. Ethyl is slightly better for preservation, though... Just put the body in a mason jar/baby food jar/anything that won't leak and add some alcohol and you should be fine...

I have..... 70% solution Isopropy. Heh. Strong stuff.

Booze soaked fish... o.o he is getting ore and more like Cobb every day... ;-;

Maybe we will burn him. Seems more fitting... hm.
