Python

This is the best product ever. Eveyone should get one, I had to go have my dad buy an adaptor from a plumming store. Other then that it was awesome. I love it. Water changes on large tanks done so quickly.

It hooks up to the sink and uses the suction from the water in the sink to have water drain out. It takes buckets completely out of the question. Also you flip a valve and water then goes into the tank. Just add water conditioner for the whole tank right away.

I want one...but the closest sink to my 16 gal is around a corner, so I can't see when things are finished. :p

I just changed the water on one of my tanks & it literally took longer to go downstairs & get the hose and hook it up than it did to remove and replace the water!

Bomba, one of my tanks is around the corner from the bathroom sink, some others are in the living room & I hook my Python up to the kitchen sink. Basically I can't see the water source from the tank. But it's not a problem the controls are such that you can leave the sink to care for the tank without getting water everywhere. Plus, they sell an extension so you can reach tanks that are further away.

Basically if I didn't have my Python I would never be able to have several 5 gallon tanks & be hoping to set up a 29 gallon.

Love it!

So it doesn't go too fast for small tanks? That could be cool...how does it do with a sand substrate?

It works great, swishs it around for dirt and stuff but doesn't suck it out.

I love my python adapter thingy and can't imagine doing water changes without it! I don't use it on my 10 gal tanks as I have a similar situation to yours, Bomba, but it works wonders for emptying and filling my 29 gal and 50 gal. Who knew I would ever NOT hate 50% WC on a 50 gallon tank!

I use it on three 5 gallons and my 3.5 gallon and yeah, it takes a bit of practice and finesse, but it's *completely* possible!
