Okay, cool :D I have a few ghost shrimp in there, but by species I assume you mean fish, not crustaceans. :P

Pretty much! :) I don't know whether shrimp appreciate aeration or not...'d have a quick google to find out. :)

I have ghost shrimps And cherry shrimps, they're completely fine with the aeration, abd its pretty strong

They do absolutely fine with added dissolved oxygen in the water. I use filters, air pumps, and natural ways to add oxygen water with my shrimps
