@Sakura: Yeah luckily I found out what it was before I lost all my jarred bettas. It kills bettas and does damage to cichlids. Nasty stuff.

What do you recommend i do to my fish while i wait for the medication to arrive? Change water? Feed it better food? ><

Yes, keep the water as clean as possible and try putting him in 1 tsp of aquarium salt per gallon. Good luck!
