Name for new boy!!

I've been racking my brains ALL day for a name for my new boy. I like Orchid because he's pretty unique looking and I found a rare orchid of similar colour and pattern as him here http://listverse.com/2011/10/25/top-...-rare-flowers/ But is Orchid a bit of a girls name for a male betta?

I'm not a botanist lol. Before his body went so purple and he was more white I thought of Snow (also a character from final fantasy 13) but now hes lavender colour snow doesn't work. :/

Well haha if he was totally white I would name him Coconut like I named my goat :D

I had a betta named Snowberry when I was a kid. He was lavender, bit of dark purple, and cranberry colored with hints of white.

He is purple...So the 1st name I thought of was "Grimace" for some reason LOL. Maybe I'm hungry for Mc Donalds or something ha ha.
