We found one of those in our car once after going to the beach, it was the size of a softball O_o

just your standard swimmer bug from the pool cover.

Pitluvs: what you got was most likely a giant water beetle, little different, mostly in size lol. I've gotten a couple giant water beetles in the 15 years i've lived with a pool, those things are scary. they would eat the fish.

lol yeah those things were fun to catch when I went up to the cabin! The dogs would come back with them attached to their noses lol. Really funny to watch them try to get them off

A water skimmer O_o If I can find the fishnet I would use one in P.P's tank to see if he will attack or not xD

they'll catch and eat it eventually. Or at least they did the last 3 i put in there.

got a water strider-type in a tank once (no idea where he came from). He eventually disappeared after i removed all the floating plants. I think the betta that was in there got him.
