Meet Rodimus Prime

I got Rodimus on thursday. I felt ready then after Moonshoes passed away.

He had some sbd going on, but it literally went away within 2 hours of 1 tsp/gal epsom salt treatment. He hasn't had any recurrences and eats like a little pig (Now I see why he had sbd)

He's still in quarantine, but I plan on having him in the divided 10 gallon with Mirage.

I'm thinking he's a spade tail but I have no idea if his coloring classifies as just orange or something else as well. He's got a purple/green shine to him depending on lighting.

Aww hes a cutie! I don't know much about colors, but he may be a chocolate? But wait for someone more experienced with colors.

I LOVE his scales. I'd say he is a veil tail, could you get one of him flaring?

He's very pretty. :) Looks more like a veiltail but a flaring pic could help determine whether or not he is a spade.

I was just thinking he was a spade since his tail opens more near the middle than Mirage's ever has, and the end of Mirage's tail is open quite a bit more than Rodimus's.

I'll try and get a picture of him flaring, but he likes to do the whole flare and dart around thing (He's very exuberant).

After a feast of bloodworms and a quick nap, I floated Rodimus in with Starscream (Who surprisingly didn't chicken out and hide in his cave) to see if I could get him to flare.

30 pictures later, I think the answer is relatively clear. Rodimus and Starscream are both divas and think the other one is ugly.

P.S - I think he has fin rot, but it could just be me. If his tail weren't torn up yes he would be a spade xD

Starscream managed to crash during his photoshoot though, which means Rodimus won this round.

Maybe next time Starscream, maybe next time.

So much awesome transformers names O.O I love transformers XD I have the DVD box set of G1 and now it's all on netflix too :D

Every time I dog sit for my parents I watch an episode or two. Found it was on Netflix and I couldn't resist.

Any ideas as to his tail type and coloring though? I'm still pretty sure he's a spade since Mirage's tail doesn't flare up like that at all and he's for sure a veil.
