There were 6 females in total, when I bought LaLa and the wild-colored gal. I went back, and 2 were still there... One (Misteltoe) won't be pictured yet. She refuses to leave the bottom of the bag, as she was in her cup - at the bottom, a grossly greyish color! She's not feeling so hot

However I got one of Dianne, and I will be posting pictures of them once I've gotten them both settled in their separate homes.

Dianne has pretty red fins, however to me her caudal seems like this: \ for shape o_O wonky fin.

Mistletoe has green and red, which is barely noticeable! :(

and about the caudal fin, maybe it got torn up and healed up messed up? because that happens in certain cases, she could also just have ripped fins, or lastly she just has a deformed fin

I think they both might be PK, to be honest. their caudals fall rather short for VT and if that is a case, I may be able to breed the fighter after all with someone xD
(I got my teak leaves in!)

Of course I came home with the gals lol. No one ever wants the females unless they are breeding And both are thick bodied, like my LaLa, who's got maroon fins. I doubt they are young xD They are bigger than Savannah, my biggest sorority gal.

Misteltoe had gone a very sickly pale white/grey after her transfer to her 3 gallon! Now she is feeling better <3

I've noticed Misteltoe has the same deep lovely red that Dianne has, except her body has a green sheen... Kind of an olive color. She also has spots on her fins! She's feeling more brave and looking a LOT better! She no longer has clamped fins, she actually holds them very, very grand!!


Although, I've noticed that Dianne's eyes are more cloudy than most betta's I've had, but she isn't blind or anything. See in the picture, for what I mean. That's the "white/grey" her eyes are o_O
