zoo med floating mirror

I just put the floating mirror in for a short time and got immediate results! Hope you enjoy the photo! My betta had bleeding tail rot just a month ago. He has come a long way.

Be careful with the mirror tho! It says right on it only leave it in for 5 minutes at a time. I got one too, and Woah did Chicory go crazy for it.

Was in the process of washing it after the 5 minutes and dropped it, and the connector between the float and the mirror broke...so be careful there too

But as you can see, he "exercised" those fins all right! First time I've actually believed that "Half Moon" claim on his cup!

I agree ! Especially with the HM === they may tear up their fins, so I just leave it in for 5-10 minutes!

They seem to be out of Betta mirrors in all my local pet stores, so I went into the parrot section and got one of them. I just took the bell off the bottom and suspended on a bamboo stick from the top of the tank rim. I actually think I like it better, it is a little bigger plus it has a soft plastic rim which I feel better about than the sharp edges of the glass itself. And it is a petty color.

This is my Betta "Guppy" having a good time with it.

What a great idea! -- I do like it better and takes care of the sharp edges on the mirror

That is a great idea Atena! I think my bird might get jealous though, she is so spoiled she already has 5 mirrors all over her cage lol.

oh no, you wouldn't want to offend any of the babies ... you must get a completely different color for your fishie.
