There are foods that supposedly enhance color, but I'm not sure if they work. I wonder if there's a way to test/prove that? I, and most people on this forum, would recommend using New Life Spectrum betta food or Omega One Betta Buffet. They are high in protein and overall the best foods for bettas currently on the market. I understand the desire to enhance color, but some of those "color enhancing" foods that you buy at Walmart are comprised of mostly fillers, like wheat, etc. In the long run, they're not healthy, and possibly even dangerous for your fish. Feeding one of the healthier foods helps reduce risk of things like constipation and SBD. That's just my 2 cents, anyways.
