Max and Henry

Hi,

I'm really enjoying looking at everyone's lovely fish and I've already had so much help and support from people on this forum, it's much appreciated.

I'd like to officially introduce Max and Henry, my guys. I got them at Petsmart a couple of weeks ago. Henry was pink with tiny black spots when we got him. His body is now almost entirely dark blue and it's spreading to his tail and fins.

Max was a light grey with iridescent purple in his tail. He is now closer to black and the purple is more pronounced. I haven't been able to get a good photo of his coloring yet.

They are great little guys, each with their own quirks. I have started a youtube channel for them. The videos are hardly riveting, but you can see Max's strange eating habits and Henry's colour change.

Henry had some sort of accident with his tail when we first got him. They were originally sharing a divided tank, so it's likely from stress from over flaring. It's healing up nicely though and they both have their own tanks, so hopefully no repeat.

Romeo is a tail biter. I put a little hidy cave in his 2.5. Hopefully that calms him down and entertains him

Beautiful fish! : ) Do you know what the coloring on Henry's body is called? I'm looking for a fish with his lovely colors myself! 8)

They're looking great! Hopefully Henry's tail will heal up nicely, and Max is looking stunning! :D

Thanks everyone. I got them at the Petsmart on Atlantic Ave in Brooklyn.

Someone in the BettaCare section here said that Henry is a marble. They actually had another one like him when I was in Petsmart last week. I had no idea his colour would change like this when I got him. I'm excited to see what his final colors will be.
