Show quality?

So my HM male Jaws is my pride and joy. I would love to put him in a show but I'm not sure he is show quality. What do you think?

people can easily judge your betta when it is flaring to determine whether or not it is show quality. Nice fish though!

I would say no.

He has no real set color, ergo its difficult to place him. Also IDK if he has the 180 degree spread. He also has very tattered fins.

Show bettas take years of development from line breeding. Pet store fish are bred to be pretty, not show quality.
