My betta, Portal Prime, has a habit I'm worried about and hoping to discourage.
I managed to baffle my whisper filter. I had no choice, the water would get so murky and get a gunk built up in the water surface, so no filter was not an option anymore.
It works perfectly! No more cloudy water and my buddy can get plenty of oxygen...but he likes to scoot himself into the corner that I wedged it against and take a snooze. Tried getting pictures but whenever I get off the bed he sort of 'sinks' himself out of the corner and swims to his bubble nest.
I'm really worried that one day he will get himself stuck. he's already ripped a corner of his fins after scooting himself against it the wrong way. What should I do? I tried sticking the filter in panty hose and it worked great, but Portal Prime didn't think so and took a chomp out of his tail :/
