TB syringe-my new friend

I started using prime and was finding it to be a pita to dose it correctly into the smaller tanks(2g/10g) until I remembered my TB syringes. Prime is 5ml for 50g or 1ml for 10g or .1 for 1g so... .2ml for my two gallon tank.

Hopefully my math is correct

The syringes are .25 mail ordered and probably free from your vet.

The dose is 2 drops per gallon. The smaller bottles of Prime have a flip-top cap with a dropper built in and have directions on the side for smaller tanks. The liquid in the bigger bottles is the same as the small bottles, so the dose is the same as well.

I always buy in bulk so I bought the big bottle. No way to get drops. I don't think I even own an eyedropper...

Syringes are my friend when it comes to my pets. I got them from my vet. I use one to measure tank water samples (5 ml) into the test tube, as well as to measure Prime and Flourish (plant fertiilizer). I use a bigger syringe to squirt water into my tarantulas' water dishes, it's safer and easier than reaching in by hand to take the dishes and fill them and put them back. I also use a syringe to give liquid meds to dogs and cats.

Strange you should post this. I was having the same problem and "requisitioned" some from work. Last night I did the math.
By the way we both are right or we both are wrong, I came up with the same results. 0.1 ml/ gal

By the way 0.1ml = 2-2.5gtts(drops) depending on type dropper used
