Exclamation Holding tank

Ok so I finally got permission to buy this beautiful show quality betta,
But the tank hasnt come in yet and the fish store only holds them for 48 hrs
I have a 1 gallon under gravel filter tank I used for a ADF but I don't have a heater... I was thinking the marina betta heater (11.99 at petsmart) because I want to makensure that he doesnt get shock when he moves to the 5 gallon on the way i also want to buy him asap so he doesn't get sold to someone else but is that heater / setup ok to hold him in untill the 5 gallon arrives??

I'd say it should be okay, however if you go to get the heater TEST IT BEFORE ADDING IT. Trust me, it could save you lots of trouble!!!

If you decide not to use a heater, keep him where it's the warmest (hot air rises), and acclimate him to the new tank of course, for temperature-reasons.
