I REALLY want a grillllll! Right now, we settle for a cast iron grill pan, but it's not the same and it smokes up the apartment a bit, haha.

Ok found some lol. The first is traditional Miso soup (we make it all the time!) and then the next are two cakes I did.

Oooh! Looks so tasty. I also want to try my hand at soup. ;) So many things! It's so gratifying making tasty food from scratch.

soups are really easy! my parents rule of thumb for booya soup is save every extra meats and put everything in the soup. Put a mixture all any/all stocks on hand and veggies. The key ingredient that makes it booya is caned diced tomatoes, juice and all. ooo Sooo good. my parents make the stuff in 10 gallon vats

Lol! The only problem is that we never HAVE extra meat! haha I loooove tomatoes... especially after they've been cooked!

Oh! On Valentine's Day I went a little crazy with the food cooking. XD

Salmon with tapenade and arugula, artichoke relish on the side, and tomato petals with tarragon also on the side (the plate with the star shape on it, haha).

Cheesecake-stuffed strawberries! These are so AWESOME.

lol I have so many foods I just never take pictures of. Homemade garlic shrimp scampi, cream puffs, a tomato butter sauce for cheese raviolis, chicken fried steaks, baked fish, pan fried fish (from everything from sunfish to salmon) stir fry, quessidillas, tacos with fried shells lol. I cook every night I get the chance!

We cook every night, too! I recently started taking pictures of everything, haha (well, trying to, lol, I've never been good with taking pictures). This is mostly because the people my boyfriend works with were like, "What DO you eat?" When he said he doesn't eat anything with soy, gluten, grains, or vegetable oils, haha.

I love raviolis so much... anything with cheese, lol. I LOVE CHEESE. Pasta has to be a rare thing for us, though, because we're both gluten intolerant. I wouldn't mind trying my hand at some gluten free pastas, though!
