Will this be ok for a heated betta tank

I'm taking your guys advice on finding a larger aquarium with a heater, but I was wondering if this would be ok for a heated betta tank? It has a LED light that changes color.

How large is it? If it was around 1 gallon then I would say that that's a minimum size, it's perfectly fine. Just remember to add a few broad leafed plants near the surface due to the height of the tank, also you might want to turn the filter off in those tanks with that design, I've found that they produce a bit too much surface agitation and it makes it hard for the Betta to breath

A 3 gallon is perfect size. Just remember that you need to do x1 100% and x1 50% water change weekly to maintain perfect parameters.

I have two of those and I hate them.

Got them in December. One of the light settings on one of them burned out after a month. The light fixtures on both are corroding. The shape means that whatever you put in it will become lost in the curve for probably 2/3 of the way around, and will be distorted when you can see it. My cats were constantly knocking the lids off. The tube up the middle is a nightmare for decorating, and the water movement with the bubbler on bothered the bettas so I eventually just tossed the whole passive filter. And the lights on mine at least just were not really bright enough for either displaying the fish well or to be able to support plants.

I have moved one of the bettas out into a Minibow 2.5 and will be doing the same for the second one soon - that boy has a light case of finrot I'm treating, soon as he's recovered, he's moving out of that thing. I'll keep one around as a QT tank.

I love my Minibow 2.5's (cats have so far proved unable to budge the cover) and my Marineland Crescent 3 (not catproof, but that's the one I have in my cat-free office).
