i have noticed, ten or twelve years ago boy bands were so huge. then they sort of ... died out. because they werent cool anymore I suppose. and there were none for five or six or so years. and now they are kind of back? hmm. interesting.

so anyway, who are these one direction people? i only know new directions =P

One direction is a group of 5 guys (Harry, Niall, Louis, Liam and zayn) They are English (Niall is Irish) and they all were on UK X factor in 2010 as individuals. The judge Simon thought they'd make a great band and put them together as one direction. They won 3rd place but have been the most successful of all the people on x factor that year.

One of their most popular songs is "what makes you beautiful"

I sound like an obsessive creep when I say this.. but there are a lot of hilarious videos on youtube about them. If you like 1D youll know what this means...
