It wont hurt to treat them as a precaution. Watch them carefully over the next couple of days.

it will hurt sometimes to use medicine as a precuation. salt and higher temps are safer for now. What are the symptoms may I ask?

Don't start with the medication. Try salt and higher temp first.... I've had luck with simply doing a slow temp increase to 83 degrees.

i increased the temperature last night, and i put in a few drops of medication (not a complete dosage, about half) but one of my bettas has white spots on her head (but she is kind of iridescent so it was a little hard to spot) and there is something on my dalmatian molly that looked kind of blurry, but it was hard to tell on her since she's white.

I don't think you are suppose to increase the temp if you are using medication. It would help if you have pictures and try to do daily water changes as well.
