Hi people
Can you rate this girl and her quality for breeding please?
Not sure how well it will show up in the pics but she is a Jade green (hence the name) and red. Also she's a halfmoon!

If you're breeding for form, I'd pass. Her caudal is way too round. Her dorsal is rather poor and her anal is too long. She has a good body though.....

Would it work if I bred her to a male that has a short anal, good dorsal and a not very round caudal?Also, breeding for colour more than form I think.Intending to work on form further down the line.

In that case you can try. Be sure to try and boost fry growth so you can breed female fry to daddy.

I am one who believes the female plays a bigger role in fry form. So I believe most of the fry will look like mommy. By breeding back to daddy, you will ensure daddy's form in F2 and can get it fixed in F3-4.

Looking at the last picture, the dorsal isn't too bad. But you still have to work on the front rays of the dorsal in the future. I still say breed back to daddy to improve overall fins.

Ok will do :) breed to Gandalf, breed fry back to daddy to ensure daddy's form in F2 and then fix it in F3-4
