Hmm, the fist and second ones look like that have short bodies (which you want to stay away from), but their fins are more ideal than the third and fourth one.
Aso, what did you have in mid for breeding? Did you want specifically stee blue HMPK's or just HMPK in general?

I'm looking into colors a lot because some of the females I bought have great form.

Have you seen this boy Yaoilover? I LOVE his color and came so close to buying him (I had to say "NO" to my hand and exit the page)

Hmm, between the second male and the one Sincerely posted, which one is better?

#1: OK, not perfect but not too bad. Probably sibling of #2
Cons: Scales could be better, anal could be neater, ventral splits, slight overlapping rays (rose possibility (?)

#2: IMO the best out of all the males - almost perfect.
Con: scales could be better (slightly), ventrals shouldn't curve/bend when flaring, and caudal slightly tilting upwards (not really a problem for breeding) and could be more pointy edged.

#3: Not good fins - caudal spade shaped, dorsal looks unbalanced - it should fan out equally, anal too pointy for my taste

#4: Caudal rays not the same (not sure of shape), and anal doesn't look right.

I agree with Pit and Indjo. :)
The one that Sincerely posted...his anal isn't that great and the branching it uneven.
