live plant question

so if i dont have special nutrient substrate in my tank but i have a cycled tank, could i just remove the black pot at the bottom of the plants when i buy them in a store and push them through my sand substrate.

yes. Your fish poops and nitrates will provide the nutrients

Remove as much of the rockwool as you can. Better for water quality as well as for the plants.

You might put a root tab in there or use liquid ferts. I don't know much about that.
