Lightbulb Every Betta keeper should read this.

While I was researching I stumbled upon, (pun not intended) this site. It's amazing! This person has successfully debunked all of the tiny torture tanks (What I call those really small tanks that are so "perfect" for your fish) and other Betta myths.

Here's the link: http://nippyfish.net/2011/10/23/the-...-from-fiction/

Tell me what you think. Must read for everyone? Or just intersting?

The nippyfish site is pretty solid on information, it isn't a bad resource. For must-reads, though, it isn't the top of my list.

I agree. It is a good site. Out of curiosity, why don't you think it is a must-read site? (Don't worry; I'm not the owner in disguise. I'm just curious what makes it not top of your list.)

I agree that nippyfish has solid articles and the myths that are debunked are done so in an accurate way. However, I prefer my must-reads to be information from a trusted source that is more than JUST an experienced betta keeper (such as an SPCA, a reputable magazine/book, etc.). I would, and have, given this article to new betta fish owners as a great starting point.

Very good article people who believe in these myths are not very bright like how would a beta get into a hoof print.
