Arrow Critique this boy?

Having never considered purchasing a HMDbT, I'm not really sure what to look for. How does this guy look all-around?

I'm just luckily passing through where she lives this weekend, I'm not normally close enough for pickup. x]

Anyone have opinions on his form? Also, I have no idea what I should breed him to, if anyone has suggestions on what to look for in a female.

He's lovely, however his anal is a bit long, IMO.

A double tail still follows the general outline of a HM and with this boy there are two things I would improve on in the next generation if I were to breed him. His caudal edges are not straight, I would pair him with a female that has very crisp edges. Like tpocicat said his anal is long so find a girlie with a short one. I'm not too worried about the top line because that's a DT thing but improving it in future generations would make him look much slicker. I like his color and his length of body (a big plus) and he has a really nice, wide dorsal which will look great in ST offspring. I'm guessing this is a young boy who is still growing out, overall he is a nice DT

Should I look for a HM or HMPK to pair him with?

I would look for a HM girl first. He looks like some variant of a red/green marble or multicolor.

Here is the short list of keypoints in the female:
-Very Crisp Caudal Edges
-Smooth Topline
-Short Anal Fin

If you want to get DTs with this breeding ask the breeder prior if she carries the DT geno.

Hope this helps,
Sincerely
