i just got home and he was in the carpet, i have no clue how long he has been there, hes still alive, but hes just kindof sitting at the bottom, is there an thing i can do? i dont want him to die :(
You mentioned sitting at the bottom? of the tank..(bowl) if he's struggling to get to the top, I would put him in a Hospital tank, or lower the water level so he can get to the surface better..
I did, i put him in a shallow hospital tank with heated and conditioned water. i only put about two inches of water, because he cant really swim to the top :/ his gills are moving, but hes just laying there, he blew a bubble if that means anything...
I agree id Either move him to a hospital tank or lower the tanks water level and keep him as stress free as possible. I hope he pulls around best of luck keep us posted.
Keep him in a dark and quiet place..but check on him quite frequently.. also you can PM old Fish Lady..she is here on the forum, and can give you some answers cuz I wouldn't know what else to do either:(
I read somewhere that a guy ccame home Betta jumped out took him 15 mins to find the fish found him thought it was dead picked it up and dropped it back in the tank and went fed the rest of his fish came back to deal with the jumper and it was swimming again the next day he said the Betta was back to building a bubble nest and was perfectly normal.
