New Peach/Coral doubletail crowntail betta :)

I hadn't bought a male betta since last year. I was at Petco last night and saw this guy and had to snatch him up. He was too cute to pass up. Plus I'd never seen a DTCT before!

He is having fun exploring his first home. A 3gallon kritterkeeper with fake plants and colorful gravel. It suits him well I think. LOL. No heater needed right now since the room I'm keeping him in is keeping the water at a steady 80 degrees.
He quickly gobbled up a couple of betta pellets this morning. Glad he's happy and has an appetite! He's so tiny!

I'm taking name suggestions. What do you think?

OMG, mjoy!!! Where did you get that male. I live in Texas too, and I was at Petco a week ago and saw an orange doubletail CT male with that same dip in his head. Which Petco exactly did you find him at?

Oh. He is still pretty, maybe the two are siblings, maybe I'll get him today if he's still there. It was a Petco off of IH-35

Oh, he's pretty! I will have to keep an eye out and see if those start showing up in my area. And then I'll just have to admire, cause all the tanks are occupied!
