The HEAT!!!

OK, So I'm in Alabama where we understand that the weather is hot an humid, but this is like day #3 where it was over 100+. It's registering 99.5 right now at 5:33 PM our time! It was 105 at 11:30 this morning. They are giving some serious T-storm warning in my county. Hope it cools things down.

Whew! Came a small T-storm that lasted about an hour. Dropped the temp to 85. Amazing what a little water will do.

hotter than normal here too... of course for us hitting the mid 20's is hotter than normal. I wish we could have a thundershower too. At least it was nice for watching the fireworks.

It's been in the 100's here, too. I hope I can make it to the pool this week.

DQ, I'm in Kentucky too and this heat is just awful. It's been over 100 for the past 3 or 4 days and I saw on the news that they're predicting triple digits for the next 7 days.

It was averaging around 108 F two weeks ago where I am in central CA. Cooled down and now it's getting hot again. But the thing is we don't get the humidity. It's dry, dry heat. You can practically feel your skin crisping.

At least we got some rain tonight. Did you get rain where you are?
