bowl vs tank

i really am trying to convince my parents to let me save up for a 2.5 gal tank at walmart. He is in a bowl now is he okay?

A tank is much easier to care for than a fish bowl. It has nice straight sides to mount the heater and the filter. Most have good covers to prevent the fish jumping out. The straight sides also let you enjoy them from any angle rather than just from the front like in a flattened bowl.
As far as the financial end of it and your parents, I never become involved in other people's family matters.

Oh sorry, 'he' is my betta sushi! The bowl is about a gallon.
