soaking pellets, advanced fin rot treatment correct dosage?

went away for the weekend last week, came back to a fish with advanced fin rot, last resort, need to know what dosage for soaking pellets, have tried everything else, just keeps getting worse!
He said last resort, just saying that is the last option.
If it's bad enough and advancing fast and resistant to antibiotics so yeah, there is 2 types of surgery that can be done.

From your post the fish is dying, but now that I'm abit more awake I see its something from the weekend, unless he lost like half his tail in 2-3 days don't do what I said in the first post.
Isn't AQ salt better for finrot tho?(never tried espom for it myself so asking for my own knowledge :D)
1) I would not suggest cutting off any part of a bettas fins - they are too small and its too risky nor would I suggest potassium pomagranite. Its pretty potent stuff and usually not easy to fins anyways - especially since it is not clear, what, exactly the opening poster is asking about.
2) what pellets are you talking about? Normally aquarium salt and daily water changes is recommended for fin rot
3) are you SURE he is not tail bitting? If large chunks go missing in like an hour, he is most likely nibbling on his fins - even if you never see him doing it.

Yup, aquarium salt is for fin rot, epsom is for stuff like bloating, swim bladder disease, internal parasites....stuff on the inside so to speak
It would help if you filled this out since your post is way to vague for a diagnosis:
However if the only symptom is rapidly missing fins, he may be bitting them off which can be confused with fin rot. If large chunks go missing in an hour or overnight - it's possible it is him bitting them off due to stress, anger, boredom or just because he can. I have several cronic bitters myself >.<

As I said in the second post, I wouldn't do that either unless it's really last resort.
The only time I would do that its if he's got fast advancing finrot that is antibiotic resistent.. There is one more type of surgery tho for finrot that does not involve cutting but still as risky.
Anyway a picture would help determine what he's got..

How has your betta fish's appearance changed? He has large rips in his tail, anal and dorsal fins, and his ventrals are have red streaks down them
How has your betta fish's behavior changed? he is lethargic, doesn't swim very much, but is thankfully still eating!
When did you start noticing the symptoms? 1 week ago
Have you started treating your fish? If so, how? I have tried aquarium salt and 75% water changes daily, no change.

I am pretty sure it is advanced fin rot, as I dont believe he is big/flexible enough to bite his dorsal fin. The fish food I am feeding him is sinking catfood pellets, as I am waiting for my local petstore to get some betta food in!

If you do not have betta food I think he is better off not eating than eating something not made for him.
I've seen bettas nip off just about their whole dorsal fin. So it is possible for him to nip at his dorsal.
Also, there will not be overnight changes with the AQ salt. You need to give him time to recover.
