I realize that Portal Prime is young, but by the time I am ready to breed him, he will be too old. And I have some very curious questions since he is an HMDT, and down the line I actually will focus on breeding them.
(These pictures are not current. My most current are in my albums :3)
He has a long dorsal and caudal fin, no misaligned scales , a nice straight body and I feel that his tail is perfect when fully flared (No extra branching). I was doing some thinking and realized breeding him to another HMDT female would most likely cause too much finnage (rosetail) and that is what I want to avoid. But I don't know if breeding to a DT female would do the same thing...
I also read someone mentioning I could breed him with a one-tailed female that carried the DT gene, but even if she had the slightly shorter fins I'd need to even out is overly long ones, would the DT gene still cause over finnage?
Sorry, I'm trying to get form down but I have royally confused myself.
