Female Betta with FINS to spare

I almost don't believe this one. She's got massive fins. Sorry for the stripey pics, but she's photophobic. She'll be out strutting her stuff and then as soon as I bring in the camera she stripes up and runs. She's tiny, too, only 3/4" plus fins.

Please tell me this isn't a baby boy in drag...

It could be...sometimes juvenile boys can have an egg spot. It's a great looking little fish though!

hrm. I hope it's a female, since I have a sorority. Maybe she/he will be more clearly male or female by the time the tank finishes cycling. Ha! I'll have to watch it carefully. Maybe it's time to bring out the mirror and check the beard.

Looks like a female to me - but I guess you can't say 100% for sure yet. she's pretty. I bet she'll color up and possibly lose those stripes in the sorority. My sorority girls hate being removed from the group and get stripey but are very colorful and peaceful all together :)

She's actually quite colorful when the camera is hidden. LOL.

I hope she is a she since she's the husband's pick. He'd be unhappy if we had to provide separate digs for his pick. I'll love it no matter what.
